New Orleans Sacred Music Festival March 12, 2016
In New Orleans, we consider music to be a powerful universal language that speaks to the soul. This spring you can experience the spirituality behind the music at the 5th Annual Sacred Music Festival. Hosted at the New Orleans Healing Center, this event is FREE to attend and all are welcome. The festival begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 10 p.m.
The New Orleans Sacred Music Festival is an annual volunteer run-and-produced music festival. It’s a summit for people of all backgrounds, cultures, and traditions to come together and share their voices through the power of music.
Performers of all faiths and cultural communities will gather together to share music, prayers, chants, and conversations about the transformative power of music. The Sacred Music Festival will honor the healing and uplifting qualities of sound and promotes cross-cultural understanding within the Greater New Orleans community.
